Wow I finally get a kraken and want to watch a replay. I can't get it to work. I did the drag and drop, just takes me to the gamecenter.
Hope someone can help, I really wanted to watch that replay.assuming a windows pc.close the gamefind the replay and double click the fileone of two things happena. You have never played a replay filethat means windows does not know what to do with it and will ask what the associated program is and you need to tell windows it is WorldOfWarships.exeb. You have played replays beforethen double clicking the file should start the game and the replay.Important is that you have to do this from windows with the game closed. If the game is running it does not work.makes you wonder why there is no 'Load/Play replay' option in the game. Wow I finally get a kraken and want to watch a replay. I can't get it to work.
I did the drag and drop, just takes me to the gamecenter. Hope someone can help, I really wanted to watch that replay.Have you tried to right click and select open with, then navigate to wows.exe?
When you right click if you do not see wows, choose select another program/app then find WorldOfWarships.exe (if there is a box check always use this to open these files). After that you should be able to just double click the replay. The game has to be shutdown remember.

Hey there Overwatch students.I figured I'd write a quick little guide on how to use the replay system itself, after writing my last guide on. The replay system can be a bit daunting if you haven't gotten much experience in spectating games.Thankfully, Blizzard has made a system that's powerful, but also relatively easy to pick up. For each section, I'll have an ingame screenshot that you can view, and I'll explain each screen the system presents you with. Section 1 - The replay menuReplays can be accessed under the Career Profile menu, under the tab 'Replays'. The menu once you reach it and have populated it with a few games it will. The game keeps up to 10 recent games, and the list is sorted from most recent to longest ago.
You can see the mode on the left, the map, duration, time played, and the result. For QP and QP-based custom modes/arcade, the result simply shows LOSS or WIN. For comp, it'll show loss or win, and the score. This can serve as a rudimentary match history.
As of now, it doesn't show the hero(es) you played, but you can always watch the replay to see that. Above the list you can also filter it to a specific mode, if you'd like to only see your recent comp matches for example.Whenever the game patches, this list will be cleared, so make sure to anticipate patches and watch any replays you want to watch. Section 2 - The replay UI and control deckUpon selecting a replay, you'll be greeted with a fairly standard spectator view, that.Across the top, the teams and players are listed.
By default, the black control deck will be hidden, but you can bring it up by pressing N. From this point forward, I'll refer to it as the 'N Menu'.At the top of the N menu there's a progress bar that indicates how far through the game you are. Below that are buttons to control the playback, those being: Restart replay, seek back 20 seconds, pause/play, seek forward 20 seconds, and the speed controller, in that order. On the right side, the circle with a man allows you to select someone to spectate from a first person view. The symbol next to it with a circle and arrows puts you back in free-camera mode. After that, there's a checkbox to enable the spectator overlay (which I'll talk about later), and finally a button/indicator to press N to close the N menu.
Section 3 - Spectating 1st personIf you click a player ingame or on the spectate player menu on the N menu (or press any of the function keys), you'll be able to. You can't really control the camera from here, but you can watch their perspective and see what they see.To jump to a different person, pull up the N menu and select someone else, or go back into free camera and click someone else, or press a different function key.As for the function key shortcuts, these are laid out F1 though F12 on your keyboard, (should be standard across all keyboards. If you're on a laptop you might need to hold another blue key first) and they correspond to players, left to right. For example, in the above screenshot, I'm second in the list, so to spectate me you'd hit F2. There's a shortcut to spectate yourself, this is right control by default. It can be tricky to count across to who you want to spectate, so just remember the tip that F7 is the first person on the enemy team.

Section 4 - Spectator controlsEach of the controls for the spectator mode can be customized to suit you. You can find the list under Options - Controls, and scroll all the way down to 'SPECTATE'. Here's what it. Change any that you find to be awkward, as they won't effect or clash with your ingame controls.I recommend rebinding the pause button to something easy to access, like spacebar.
(You don't really need move up, just look up and press W, or rebind it to alt or something)An easy way to escape 1st person spectate is to hit 0, this will send your camera into free mode, focused on the current objective. Section 5 - The spectator overlayIf you'd like, you can view the same spectator overlay that gets used in the OWL to show overall team positions. To access this, simply check the spectator overlay checkbox in the N menu, or press Ctrl+i. This won't put you into the top down sky view that the OWL spectators tend to use, so you have to fly up there yourself. (You aren't limited by the skybox in spectator mode, and you can go quite high)Once you do, it'll.A few things to note: The larger a player's circle is, the closer they are to the spectator. Two players with the same size circle are at the same distance from you.
If you're in the air above them, this'll be their altitude. The colored circle around their picture is their health. If they have a status effect, this'll be displayed either on their health bar (anti-healed, immortality), or as a symbol on their picture (hacked, stunned, etc). Wrap upThanks for reading! Hopefully this cleared up any questions you might've had. There's no way to hide the top spectator bar (with all the players and their life bars) right?Nope, not right now.I can't change which team is blue and which is red? It's a bit weird seeing myself shoot at the blue outlined people:pNope, it actually seems to be random, it can pick a different one each time. The spectate self keybind also doesn't work, which makes me think that the game doesn't know who owns the replay when it plays it, which could mean we're getting replay sharing in the future.I can't give the teams specific names?I believe if you're watching the replay of a custom game where they've been given names it'll be preserved, but no, you can't name teams in the replay itself.
Two annoying issues I'm having trouble figuring out. If anyone has answers please LMK!1) In the OWL viewer (separate client), scroll up / scroll down are set to increase / decrease replay speed.
In the self-replay viewer there seems to be a similar option (I think its called something like 'Speed Up / Zoom In' and 'Speed Down / Zoom Out') but it doesn't seem to do anything. Am I doing something wrong?2) Sometimes the team colors change (Red turns to a lighter blue - I think its the neon-blue from the colorblindness settings which is what I have 'friendly' set to), which makes spectating a bit annoying (since the normal blue team blue and the neon-blue are pretty similar). I have noticed that it corrects itself sometimes (not sure but maybe when I go into a first-person perspective). Has anyone else had this issue, and if so do you know what triggers it or how to reset it?.
